F1: McLaren's stunning bounce back is unlike anything the paddock has seen in recent years

F1: McLaren's stunning bounce back is unlike anything the paddock has seen in recent years While  Red Bull has won every race  of the  2023 Formula 1 season , there's no team more compelling than McLaren right now. The Woking Team began the season among F1's bottom feeders, but in the last four races Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been consistently finishing well within the points, combining for five top-five finishes. It's not unheard of for a team to upgrade its cars over the course of the season, but McLaren's move from a cellar-dweller to occasionally nipping at Red Bull's heels is tough to fathom. The MCL60 is an entirely different beast than it was during the year due to changes to the  underfloor, sidepods, and front wing . The differences are subtle to the untrained eye — in part due to to fact that the underfloor upgrades might be the most significant, but aren't visible outside of the floor edge profiles — but the cha...

Skipper Kerr to start for Australia in World Cup semi-final Talismanic striker Sam Kerr was named in Australia's starting line-up for the first time at the Women's World Cup for Wednesday's semi-final against  England  in Sydney. The 29-year-old skipper came off the bench in the previous two matches following a calf injury that has severely limited her World Cup. The Chelsea predator's inclusion in coach Tony Gustavsson's starting XI is a major boost to the co-hosts' chances of reaching the final of the World Cup for the first time. The winner of the semi-final in Sydney will face  Spain  in Sunday's final, also at Stadium Australia. Kerr comes into the side in place of Emily van Egmond as part of two changes, with  Clare Polkinghorne  replacing fellow defender  Alanna Kennedy . European champions England are unchanged from the side that beat  Colombia  2-1 in the quarter-finals. Kerr averages a goal every other gam...

Roman Reigns Beat Everyone Who Mattered

Roman Reigns Beat Everyone Who Mattered This year, The Tribal Chief toppled the three best options in Zayn, Rhodes, and Uso in a similar fashion. There was a compelling reason for each of them to finally defeat him, but the Samoa star won with the help of The Bloodline every time. It wasn't as heartbreaking when his cousin fell victim to the same fate because the audience has seen this scenario before. WWE didn't even bother to do something new. It was just another hooded family member and the inevitable conclusion. Most viewers had faith that Zayn's loss would be worth it when The American Nightmare finished the story. Then, some fans warmed up to the idea that this reign of terror could end where it started if Main Event Jey did the unthinkable. Sure, we can all assume that Rhodes will eventually get his rematch. Still, the light at the end of the tunnel seems so far, and WWE has burned out its audiences with these missed opportunities. Too Much Decompressi...
